Curriculum Week 4 - MS & Exchange Server, Active Directory

The goals for this course are to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Windows XP, 2003 Server and server administration. Also of primary importance is to prepare students for taking the Windows 2003 Server certification exam 70-215. The course focuses on selecting server and client hardware, installing and configuring servers, setting up and managing network printing services, establishing remote access services, interoperating on networks, setting up for the Internet, monitoring and tuning servers, and troubleshooting. Students will have an opportunity to apply their knowledge through hands-on projects and case study assignments.  Upon satisfactory completion of this curriculum a student will have developed the administrative, installation, and problem solving skills necessary to maintain and apply proper system techniques in a real-world military Windows environment.

  7.  Configure and troubleshoot Exchange Server
  8.  Monitor, manage and administer Active Directory
