Curriculum Week 3 - CCNA Phase 2

Advanced level instruction in Cisco networking fundamentals pertaining to CCNA certification is covered in this phase. Topics in the curriculum include the essentials of networking, network routing review, IPX/SPX in WANs , PPP and ISDN, Frame Relay, and advanced network design.  The course will provide students with advanced training and instruction in the field of Cisco networking, routing, and practices and procedures that are a requirement for CCNA certification.

                                    
      Objectives:
  1.  Describe and implement NAT and PAT technologies
  2.  Setup and configure WAN based routers
  3.  Discuss WAN technologies, devices, encapsulation and how it all relates to the
       OSI mode
  4.  Diagraming WAN communication, WAN design, and identifying network
       capabilities
  5.  Describe Point-to-Point Protocol, PPP establishment and authentication
  6.  Experiment with ISDN uses, BRI and PRI, and how it relates to the OSI model
  7.  Create Frame Relay technology and LMI features
  8.  Evaluate Network Management, monitoring, and troubleshooting
